Parsing and extracting information from (possibly malformed) HTML/XML documents TagSoup is a library for parsing HTML/XML. It supports the HTML 5 specification, and can be used to parse either well-formed XML, or unstructured and malformed HTML from the web. The library also provides useful functions to extract information from an HTML document, making it ideal for screen-scraping. Users should start from the Text.HTML.TagSoup module.

Derive Template Haskell's Lift class for datatypes. Derive Template Haskell's Lift class for datatypes using TemplateHaskell. The functionality in this package has largely been subsumed by the DeriveLift language extension, which is available in GHC 8.0 and later versions. As such, this package is only useful as a way to backport bugfixes to DeriveLift in later GHC versions back to older GHCs. The following libraries are related:
- The th-orphans package provides instances for template-haskell syntax types.
- The th-lift-instances package provides Lift instances for types in base, text, bytestring, vector, etc. Some of these instances are only provided for old versions of their respective libraries, as the same Lift instances are also present upstream on newer versions.

Lift instances for template-haskell for common data types. Most data types in the haskell platform do not have Lift instances. This package provides orphan instances for containers, text, bytestring and vector. It also provides compat instances for older versions of template-haskell Note that th-lift package provides Template Haskell based derivation of Lift instances (when you cannot use DeriveLift extension), and th-orphans package provides instances for TH datatypes.

Basic types for representing XML Basic types for representing XML. The idea is to have a full set of appropriate types, which various XML libraries can share. Instead of having equivalent-but-incompatible types for every binding, parser, or client, they all share the same types can can thus interoperate easily. This library contains complete types for most parts of an XML document, including the prologue, node tree, and doctype. Some basic combinators are included for common tasks, including traversing the node tree and filtering children.

Simple and easy network connection API Simple network library for all your connection needs. Features: Really simple to use, SSL/TLS, SOCKS. This library provides a very simple api to create sockets to a destination with the choice of SSL/TLS, and SOCKS.

doctest-exitcode-stdio Run doctest's in a Cabal.Test.exitcode-stdio environment Run doctest's in a Cabal.Test.exitcode-stdio environment. For use with the doctest-extract utility. Normally, you should not need to import a module from this package, only generated code will do this.

Generic programming library for generalised deriving. This package provides functionality for generalising the deriving mechanism in Haskell to arbitrary classes. It was first described in the paper:
- A generic deriving mechanism for Haskell. Jose Pedro Magalhaes, Atze Dijkstra, Johan Jeuring, and Andres Loeh. Haskell'10.
- Generics.Deriving.Base defines the core functionality for GHC generics, including the Generic(1) classes and representation data types. On modern versions of GHC, this simply re-exports GHC.Generics from base. On older versions of GHC, this module backports parts of GHC.Generics that were not included at the time, including Generic(1) instances.
- Generics.Deriving.TH implements Template Haskell functionality for deriving instances of Generic(1).
- Educational code: in order to provide examples of how to define and use GHC.Generics-based defaults, this library offers a number of modules which define examples of type classes along with default implementations for the classes' methods. Currently, the following modules are provided: Generics.Deriving.Copoint, Generics.Deriving.ConNames, Generics.Deriving.Enum, Generics.Deriving.Eq, Generics.Deriving.Foldable, Generics.Deriving.Functor, Generics.Deriving.Monoid, Generics.Deriving.Semigroup, Generics.Deriving.Show, Generics.Deriving.Traversable, and Generics.Deriving.Uniplate.
- Generics.Deriving.Default provides newtypes that allow leveraging the generic defaults in this library using the DerivingVia GHC language extension.
- Generics.Deriving re-exports Generics.Deriving.Base, Generics.Deriving.Default, and a selection of educational modules.

Manipulating Haskell source: abstract syntax, lexer, parser, and pretty-printer Haskell-Source with Extensions (HSE, haskell-src-exts) is a standalone parser for Haskell. In addition to standard Haskell, all extensions implemented in GHC are supported. Apart from these standard extensions, it also handles regular patterns as per the HaRP extension as well as HSX-style embedded XML syntax.

Numeric Linear Algebra Linear systems, matrix decompositions, and other numerical computations based on BLAS and LAPACK. Standard interface: Numeric.LinearAlgebra.
